Eli, your first graph is right on in the beginning but is off just a bit as the pattern continues. https://www.desmos.com/screenshot/hbe8desxa8 The modular curve is a neat idea. I have to explore those some more. Since that is the same as your first graph, it is slightly off.
Ok, thanks Luke. So both of Eli’s guesses work when replacing 10 with pi^2.
They are equivalent since arcos(cos(x)) = abs(mod(x-pi, 2pi) – pi)
