Daily Desmos 100a (Advanced)
On to the Challenge!
Can you create the following graph using desmos.com or some other graphing tool? If you’re victorious, leave us a note in the comments when you’re done.
Hint from the author: “My single-equation solution includes 10 sets of absolute value bars and a restricted domain.”

I can do it in two equations, but the domain restriction seems to stop once it finds a match… https://www.desmos.com/calculator/c3qommxxa2 (Also shows 100Basic)
Nicely done. My solution for the basic challenge involved multiple absolute values, but I like your clever use of the max function.
As for the advanced challenge, I have to admit I didn’t even know one could define piecewise functions like that in Desmos — Great thing to know! My “10 sets of absolute value bars” solution is one rather long implicitly defined equation with only one domain-restricting inequality (since a single y= equation wouldn’t be enough to create this curve)
