This idea is from a commentator, Rocky Roer. Rocky was working on Parabola of Lines #1, and came up with the fantastic idea:

Suggestion for a future daily desmos: The parabola sieve for prime numbers. That was the first thing that came to mind when i saw this image — although i realize now that the lines are supposed to be on the inside instead of the outside.
