On to the Challenge!
Can you create the following graph using desmos.com or some other graphing tool? If you’re victorious, leave us a note in the comments when you’re done.
This is a graph of 100 parabolas. Can you replicate the picture?
Similar, but doesn’t seem to be exactly the same.

Yea, it’s really close! Try changing a from an arithmetic list (goes up by a constant difference) to a geometric list (goes up by a constant ratio). To make a geometric list, you’ll need to take an arithmetic list and perform a math operation on it and store it in another list.
I tried to do it, and I feel like I got close, but I couldn’t make it into a list of 1 hundred values without completely ruining it.

I changed the values a bit so it’s a little closer, though still not quite. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ecjum3ge8h
It’s great!

This is the closest I could get it and it turned out pretty good but still not exactly the same. I just kept plugging in numbers between .4 and .99 to make the parabolas vertically stretch.

I struggled to get it but i just played around until it looked similar to the graph provided. Anyway this is what i could get!
I can’t seem to get it exactly, but I think this captures the general idea. Could you share the list you used?

This was as close as I could get to make it look like the image above. I couldn’t get 100 parabolas but tried to make mine as close as I could.
