Awww yes, lovin’ the dot challenges. My four solutions, although the third wouldn’t work if the pattern of dots continues above the line y=30.

Thanks, makes me wonder what you had in mind 🙂 This is what I’m enjoying most about the dots-style challenges: Even after getting an answer, one still wonders how many more can be found. For example, how’d I overlook the conciseness of the LCM solution below?!

I also have the feeling that there ought to be a combination of coefficients that would make https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ulfbulxeko work, but I can’t find it.

Can’t get much more to-the-point than your first solution. Intrigued by the polar equation. I didn’t come to any conclusions with your coefficients either, but it did inspire me to try some other polar approaches.

Well, done jsb16. That was one I used to plot the dots. As for your polar form, I don’t think the coefficients matter because the line have a slight curve to them.

Jerome, those polar equations are so sick. I love it to the nth radian!
