add linear equations such as y=x+a+2 and add a slider for a, then make another set of linear equations such as y=-x+a+2

Its actually quite simple it you understand linear transformations. If you start with y=x, you can transform that equation by adding or subtracting from x. Ex. y=x (+ or -) b. After that, you only need to reflect all the equations across the y-axis. You can do that by multiplying each equation by -1. Ex. y=-1x (+ or -) b. Thats all there is to it.
